I'm not the world's biggest FDR fan, but I do owe him one for making Columbus Day a federal holiday. I'm really going to miss this pointless day off when I am no longer a government employee.
It's been a busy but good weekend, mostly filled with wedding things. The invitations are on their way, finally. The pattern and fabric for Leah's dress and my sash are picked out. We went up to the church on Saturday afternoon to hammer out details, and we ate dinner at a potential caterer's. Our engagement pictures were taken last night. And I'll be using my day off to do even more wedding shopping. I'm finally starting to feel much more confident about wedding planning.
We went to see Fireproof last night. It wasn't exactly your average high-budget Hollywood film, but we both enjoyed it.
