I finally got my snuggie! And it's huge.
It always, always pays to follow the list. Each year, I put out a joint birthday/Christmas list to save time. The two dates fall so closely together, that I might as well just write down everything once.
For my birthday last year, CJ got me a framed picture of the Monet painting he proposed in front of. I'd be surprised if he'd ever be able to top that gift.
I think he knows that too, so he went off the list, and got me a snuggie, a scarf from the Gap (which I had conveniently emailed him a link to back in August), and Wii Fit.
Can I just say how much I love Wii Fit? (Surprised both of us.) It's not as good as going to the gym and working up a really good sweat, but it's better than just vegging out on the couch. Anyone who has already created a mii character on our Wii is on there as well, working out with me. Several months ago, our minister had a sermon series called "Bii Fit" and the graphics were mii characters of the ministers and then Jesus (since that was the real point of it). So CJ created a Jesus character on our Wii. Probably strange, yes, but on the other hand (and this is probably strange too), it's a little comforting having Jesus work out with you -- jogging next to you, doing step aerobics right next to you, cheering for you. I love the yoga (I feel like I actually do it halfway right with this), and the hula hoops, and even the step aerobics. So anyway, if you have a Wii, go out and get the Wii Fit and thank me later.
Oh, and I don't want the FCC to come after me, so Snuggie, Gap, Nintendo, or any other company mentioned in this post didn't pay me to say a thing about their products. In fact, my money paid for these things and like a good consumer, I wanted to share my experience with others. (Is that a good enough disclaimer to keep me from getting fined? Ridiculous.)
