I ran across this quote a few weeks ago and it just really resonated with me...
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
- Plato
Awhile ago, I found a jewelry designer online and I just love her work. I've never purchased anything, and I've never even sent the link to CJ as a not-so-subtle hint. Each year, she designs a simple, pretty necklace that she titles the Word of the Year necklace. I think the point is that the customer can pick out whatever word they want to be their word of the year. This year, she picked out the word grace.
After thinking about it awhile, I've decided I want that necklace (although I still haven't bought it), as a reminder to myself. God has shown me grace time and time again. And, in return, I'm expected to show grace to everyone I come in contact with. In life, I find it hard to do that. People annoy me a good part of the time. And I'm one of the least patient people you'll ever meet.
I don't really use this blog to share my thoughts, unless it's about how to redo furniture or how much I love my new curtains, but pairing these two thoughts together stuck with me enough that I felt like I should share...

We all need a little more grace in our lives.
Would you should share the link to the jewelry artist?

She has some really cute family-oriented jewelry that I'd totally snatch up if I had kids. :)
