a tacky Christmas

I love a tacky Christmas.  Our house will never be the house with matching decorations and twinkling white lights.  I even love the red nose and antlers people put on their cars.  I think it's so tacky and fun (not saying that anyone should go out and buy these for me though).  But, the other night as I was driving around the city, I got behind a car that had a fake Santa hat and arm hanging out the back of the trunk.  And as much as I like the kitchy Christmas decorations, I found this one to be a tiny bit distasteful.  So my question:  can we take a tacky Christmas too far sometimes?
