back to school project

It's almost back to school time (not for me though!), so my mom had CJ work on a little project for her classroom.  Each year she takes little wooden apples, writes her kids' names on them, and then decorates her tree.  A few years ago, her tree broke and she had to stop doing it.  Lucky for her, she has a pretty handy son-in-law.

The project wasn't difficult per se, but just a little intricate.  CJ said when he would close his eyes, he'd still see the outline of this tree because he'd been staring at it for so long.  Here's the final product:
