CJ's latest creation: a riddling rack

A few months ago, I stumbled across a riddling rack online, and put CJ to work making one for me.  Didn't it turn out great?  (Google riddling racks if you want to read the history.)

We toyed with rigging up something where the rack could hold candles, but after some debating and one broken candle holder, I settled on using it as a wine rack.  Our buffet (the first piece of furniture we bought together, and one of my favorite pieces in the entire house) was getting out of control.  We had a stackable wine racks and too many cookbooks on there, plus it has a tendency to become catch-all for everything from stethoscopes to dog treats to sunglasses.  And although I miss my chalkboard/key holder that was in its place, the riddling rack fills out the space quite nicely, and is rather unique.

It's things like this that remind me once again that I married well.  (As if I needed a reminder.)
