Here's my pet grievance list:
1. I hate having to guard my food, especially if it concerns bread, bacon, and/or eggs. I find Henry's love of bread a little strange too.
2. The incessant chasing. We're convinced that Bridget now does it just to get Henry in trouble. She's coming out of the bedroom more and more often now. But, she'll often sit in the door to our bedroom and just wait until Henry notices her. Then she runs away, he follows, and he gets yelled at. We repeat this process several times nightly. My solution so far has been to bring Bridget out in the living room and make her sit with us so Henry will quit chasing her.
3. And my biggest pet peeve at all (pun intended): When I come home from working all day, one of the pets will usually look at me, stretch real big, and yawn even bigger -- because, you know, it's been a really long and hard day for them. I find this terribly obnoxious.
That said, I do actually enjoy having the pets around most of the time (when they're not doing any of the above activities). Especially on those nights when CJ is at work, it's nice to have something else moving around the house. And, they both provide lots of entertainment. And let's face it, with the stresses of everything else, we can all use a good laugh every so often.
